A firm believer in the transformative power of art, she finds joy in bringing people together and creating spaces where strangers become friends, ideas become collaborations, and belonging takes root. Curious and endlessly creative, Neha draws inspiration from her city's flavours, people, and possibilities. Whether she is writing, painting, hiking, swimming, cycling, or simply exploring fresh food markets, one thing remains constant: building a community is not just what she does, it is where her heart belongs.

Also known as Artee, he is the core driver behind the concept “Rachana” at Vizag Writers. An aspiring filmmaker and a repository of ideas, his story narrations leave a lasting impression on everyone. Everyone needs an Artee in their life, no drama but only pure connections. In his free time, he takes people on food walks in Vizag.

Samvedh blends relaxed ease with fierce dedication. Founder of Treksome in Visakhapatnam and a sustainable eco-stay, Pravaham Homestay, he divides his time between Araku and Vizag like trips to a favourite ice cream shop. A podcaster (Samvedh Sagas), traveller, photographer, and storyteller, he crafts mesmerising visuals and scripts. With the exact blend of entrepreneurial drive and creative spirit, leading workshops like Soul Scribbles, he champions local literary events such as Rachana and helps Vizag Writers thrive just as beautifully as the nature retreats he builds.

Ravi Shankar fondly describes himself as a passionate yet unaccomplished writer - a claim that anyone familiar with his work would be quick to challenge. Driven by curiosity and an unwavering go-getter attitude, he is always on his toes, bringing energy and initiative to everything he does at Vizag Writers. While his sharp sarcasm may catch you off guard, it is matched only by his genuine warmth and kindness. Whether it's crafting compelling words or turning ideas into reality, Ravi has a knack for making things happen. Beyond the world of writing, he is also on the path to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Also known as NSK, he is the biggest history enthusiast our team has got, with his writing reflecting on history, satirical poems and commentary. He works as a senior analyst at Iron Mountain services, and also currently serves as an Area Director in Toastmasters.

Preethi is an amateur writer and poet who found her true calling in words after beginning her journey as a teacher. Much like her varied background in English Literature, Hindi, Interior Design, Tourism and Hotel Management, her interests span poetry, short stories, reading, and creative content, along with her love for beaches, sunsets, music, and exploring cuisines. Within Vizag Writers, she curates thoughtful prompts, offers feedback, contributes to literary events, and occasionally takes the microphone as a host. She draws inspiration from people, conversations, books, and the beauty of everyday life and believes every conversation holds a story, sometimes waiting only for someone willing to listen.

Hema is a lecturer-turned-engineer with a deep love for languages and writing. An avid reader, she finds inspiration in nature, everyday life, and the people around her. She enjoys writing poems and stories that inspire thought, bring joy, and connect with readers. She actively participates in team discussions and contributes to planning events and curating prompts.

Kishore is the steady presence everyone can rely on, the thoughtful force that keeps the team together. As the curator of our weekly prompts, he encourages writers to step beyond the familiar, observe more deeply, and discover new possibilities in their craft. A devoted reader and keen observer, his insightful book reviews reflect a lasting curiosity about literature and the world around him. Even after a demanding workday, he brings thoughtful energy to event planning and team discussions. Beyond words, Kishore is a devoted father who finds joy in cycling, learning, exploring, and embracing new adventures with his six-year-old.

Ayesha is an educator who finds joy in teaching, creating, and shaping young minds. While she's on her own journey of learning and discovering the world, writing has become her way of making sense of it all. Through poetry, she explores and unveils emotions, experiences, and the things we often leave unspoken. As a member of Vizag Writers, she's actively involved in the community's literary gatherings and open mics, connecting with fellow writers and contributing to spaces that celebrate stories, ideas, and diverse voices. She is a host, bringing her love for words and people together through meaningful conversations and events.

Aishwarya began as a quiet journaler, turning unspoken thoughts into stories and finding in writing, a space to be unapologetically herself. Fascinated by human emotions, relationships, and the extraordinary hidden within ordinary lives, she writes with imagination, empathy, and sincerity. A dedicated CA aspirant, she balances the precision of numbers with the freedom of words. When she isn't immersed in books, balance sheets, or stories, you'll find her memorising song lyrics, always ready for the karaoke night she was born to win.

As Vizag Writers' visual storyteller and the founder of Foxey Photography, he captures the emotions, performances, conversations, and fleeting moments that shape the community's memories. Behind the camera since 2017, he brings a thoughtful eye to portraits, events, weddings, fashion, and documentary storytelling. With a love for authentic emotions, natural light, and overlooked details, Sravan turns moments into memories, and memories into stories.
